Step 3: Check the status of wireless internet connectivity
Check the speed of your Wi-Fi network, as it needs to be good enough for the working of Netgear Orbi and Satellite. In case, the signal strength is weak, then you will have to reset the router.

  1. You need to visit the download center in order to find the latest version of Orbi Satellite’s firmware.
  2. Once found, download the firmware on your PC.
  3. Launch your web browser and go to ‘orbilogin.com’.
  4. Enter your Orbi login credentials followed by clicking ‘Sign In’.
  5. Once you are inside the web interface of your Netgear Orbi, click the ‘Firmware Update’ button.
  6. The firmware update process will now begin.
  7. If you are again prompted to enter your Orbi username and password, then you should enter those details.
  8. You should upload the firmware from where you have saved it.
  9. Wait until the file uploads. Once it is, the process completes.
